To introduce the new bracelet slot. Why does it have to be some big event?
They made an entire new item equipment with a good passive, can also get gold loot on it movement speed boss damage stat % this is a huge event .
Everyone who has GL set with have 40-100% more gl just from this bracelet
Everyone who has speed set will have 10-20% ms more on their speed set
Everyone who has stat % will have 4-8% more main stat
Everyone who has boss damage will have 10-20% more boss damage
That’s the reason of the event (: enjoy

Free to enter event zone. Free to open chest with bracelets (and gold).
Recipes for the Legendary and the vanity are free to loot...
I can totally understand why you hate this.

It doesn't make sense to add a vanity which 1 out of 2000 players will loot just make it bound at this point. And the recipe is free to loot buy drop rate is 0.1% same as "sand aura" in elite rahab.

Couldn't disagree more.
When it comes to vanities we value beauty and we value rarity. If an item is both beautiful and rare it can fetch upwards of a billion gold. If an item is 'ugly' but super rare, it can still be extremely valuable to the lucky few who hold it.
Extremely rare loot is exciting and while AL has some in its perennial content (like the sand aura), it has been lacking truly 'rare' drops in events.

Ugly and rare doesn’t equal value. Ask those Sand aura owner/seller how quickly and deeply the price dropped.

Bound doesn’t have zero value , value is not always related to gold, it’s even more valuable than any of the vanities purchasable through gold, tradable vanities can be purchased by anyone at anytime, just by spending money in the game , while the wearer of bound vanities have actually something rare , that no one can get unless they worked hard for it , that’s the main difference.
Ugly and rare does have value , sand aura slowly becoming less rarer coz it’s always available in rahab , while if there are real rare items in events that stop dropping after event end & retain value & even rise in price. You can take for example bug face helm , it’s worth around 2b or more now , even though it’s literally the ugliest helm in the game , just because it’s rare it’s valued at that price . There are always people who like to collect rare items & show them off .
I think u haven’t thought of it well , but devs know a lot of stuff better than players know .
try to drop jacinda chest and braclets sometimes it going high price and when event will be down nobody cannot find bracelets
