I dunno if its just me but after i respeced to pure mage i noticed that i seem to die a lot faster, and i didnt see a difference at all in my skill damage...

I have one of each type of mage, and the Int mage does do slighly better damage with skills, though you will still want secondary dex for hit%, damage, crit, etc., etc. At this point stat-driven skills have given Int mages a much needed boost, but a fairly small one. And of course an Int mage dies easiest. It should be that way, but IMO, in return, Int mages should do more like twice the damage with their skills that a paladin or dex mage does. Currently with the small boost of stat-driven skills, Int mages are probably still the weakest mage build overall, but at least we're moving in the right direction.

i never had strength before when i was a dex mage, but i still lasted A LOT longer.
