If you're willing to brave the unknown below Windmoore's city streets...a new vanity awaits!

Freda, a student at the Temple of Knowledge, discovered an ancient blueprint of Windmoore, indicating that a crypt exists deep below the city street. This crypt is said to hold a beautiful new treasure: the halo vanity item!

Unfortunately, treasure was not the only thing they discovered...



Brave the undead-infested halls of the Mortarax Crypt to collect crafting materials for the new Mortarax Halo of Fortune.





To receive the recipe, you'll need to take on the Arachnid Sorceress "Mortarax" herself.



She also drops a special event locked crate with the chance to drop the Arcane Halo of Legend...



...as well as Level 81 Arcane and Mythic items and up to Level 80 Legendary rarity bracelets!



Plus, a recipe to craft the Mortarax Massive Locked crate with 3 chances to pull!

Special note about the Twilight expansion's "Sacred Halo" and "Hallowed Circlet:"

- These vanity helmets will be converted to a vanity halos with this update.
- No changes will be made to the helmet component item (the one with stats).
- Crafting, quests, and effects will be updated to accommodate the vanity item change.

Another note about halos with big hats and hair to set expectations:

- While most of the popular styles look great with halos not all halo vanities are going to work perfectly with all styles of hair.
- Same can be said for certain types of vanity helmet (especially those with big pieces and those with animated components).

And another note about rare drops:

- The drop chances for the most rare crafting components and recipes will be significantly higher than those in the Jeweler's Jeopardy (bracelet) event.
- While we still want there to be exciting rare drops we have heard your feedback and will ensure that the rarity does not spoil the fun!
