Can Elite Valley Gates be reverted to the original way where a boss spawns each wave after wave 10, as running it for aps has become extremely tedious.
Considering its not worth running for gold anymore, its not the greatest ap map to run.

Yes and the 2 others portals in valley too
I can do 100m pts easy in evg with krakens, make it harder than elite zodias and make the boss have 2x elite rahab health
Maybe that after wave 100 the bosses come back.

I'm glad to see the community agrees on this. I didn't even think of some of the reasons others mentioned such as it makes it harder to run requiring more strategy for LB runs.

I don't think we have plans to change this.

What was the reasoning behind changing this? There is no benefit for it being the way it used to be apart from running achievements.

It was changed this content update (link).
Unfortunately, the change doesn't show a reason, but if I had to guess, it was probably one of the following:
* maybe push players to the newer Zodias Gauntlet
* maybe require players to achieve the APs naturally by playing the campaign dungeon content
* maybe prep for future event where those bosses can be fought
* maybe none of the above
