There is a pressing need to increase the gold cap to 5 billion in order to better facilitate transactions involving valuable items that are worth over 1 billion. Trading exclusively in gold poses significant risks for both parties, and in the absence of support from STS, victims of fraud in such transactions are left without recourse.
