Preview - The Crypt of Renown! Collect and craft new Badges and Titles!

A rare celestial event has descended upon Arlor, and it is during this time only that you can pass through a portal that's appeared right in Windmoore Tavern into the fabled Crypt of Renown. Fight the fiery beasts within to collect and craft new titles and badges to display in.... NEW title and badge displays for your home!


Talk to Loremaster Myterox in Windmoore Tavern to learn more about the event.



Then, head through the portal to extinguish the fiery beasts within.

Open to all levels. No energy required; portal is free to enter!

The Crypt of Renown is meant to be difficult!
Here are some quick tips for new Legends:
- Form a party with your friends (balance is best).
- Consider your equipment loadout carefully.
- Choose your Pet wisely and consider which HB / AA is the best complement for your build.
- Watch for orange 'warmup' indicators to avoid being killed by traps. Traps will kill you.
- The crypt is easier for lower level players but Igneath (the final boss) can be challenging for all levels.
- Solo Legends without full sets of OP gear (for their level) may struggle to defeat Igneath.

As always, the best advice we can offer is to ask your fellow Legends for guidance.

The Crypt of Renown is meant to be a grind!
Some notes on scoring:
- Unlike most events, Crypt of Renown event points are awarded from all monsters in the event zone - so every victory advances your score.
- Fire Beast minions award an average of 3.5 points. Fire Maidens award an average of 15. Igneath awards an average of 42 points.
- Average score per completion is around 200 points; so it will take roughly 500 runs for you to reach Platinum Tier.

As you go, you'll be collecting items and components to complete a trio of new badges and titles: Looted, Crafted, and by Score.

Slaying the enemies within the crypt has a chance to drop:

the animated Arcane Looter Badge


the animated Lucky Looter Title

You'll also find the recipes to craft:

the Arcane Crafter Badge


and the Wordsmith Title


Score
Then collect event score by defeating monsters in the Crypt of Renown for a trade-friendly Title and Badge!

Gold Tier (50,000 Points) - animated Renowned Title


Platinum Tier (100,000 Points) - animated Arcane Legend Badge


Once you collect them all, you probably don't want to pick just one at a time to show off--right? Time to head over to your house to pick up the new Badge Display Case and Title Display case!



Now, you can proudly show off your collections to your friends and guests.

The Crypt of Renown mini-event runs for one (1) week starting at 1:30PM Central on March 23rd, ending on March 30th (with a 3-day cooldown).

Holy Smokes, looks cool. May i ask, is there a chance to give players only this "animation" (in this case lightning over title) in form of let's say bound chest, that we can apply to title picked by a player? Maybe there could be a rule, that title has to be golden (reward for top10 during events) for this animation to be applied, so STS can track down only certain portion of titles? Let's say player has no top10 title, so they would receive Lucky Looter title with animation. Win/win situation. I would like to use the animation on one of my titles.

Seems very good rewards, but how repetitive will be! We will see tomorrow!! Love the new details and designs, hope worth all the time farming for them, probably will be very rare to get? Let's see tomorrow!

Wow this is definitely one the best events we've ever had, that badge looks absolutely stunning and animated titles are a great addition to the game. Excited for the future of Arcane Legends.
