Not a bad idea - and we considered it for the Crypt of Renown.
We ultimately decided against it because we wanted to keep the rewards trade-friendly. If gold-rich players could boost their points and get the trade-friendly titles on all their alts it would devalue the grind... and also it would likely be recoverable gold via trade (as the first players to sell them would make up for it in profit).
