I hate to be this guy, but let's talk about Mage in LB runs

In the past few months, more than a few mages, were able to kill timed orrick in under of 3 seconds solo, and hydra also extremely fast (don't remember the exact numbers, but I do remember that many mages do it faster solo, than a group full of rogues.)

Now I am not a mage player, havent played that class in a while, but I do know that if rogue would be this strong, could solo these maps so fast, you would see huge amount of threads "Nerf Rogues" every day, but apparently when mage is able to do that its ok?

I will tell you that:
I got 3102 DEX set Zaarus, with around 60BD, Arcane were, all the damage fish elixirs, and after procing all kraken gears and switching to the zaarus, you do tons of damage and I mean alot, but somehow, a significantly lower stats mage can do it even faster (single target damage).

I am not saying rogue is weak cus it is not, but there is something very wrong in here, with the amount of damage mages can squeeze on a single target so fast.

Ask for removal of fish elixirs not nerf of mages. Elixirs are causing imbalance. And second of all mages do it faster cuz hyperos is giga broken.

Maybe no one cared as much about Orrick and Hydra for those threads to be made anymore, this is probably the first of this year. It had always been an irrelevant leaderboard that never required skill where mages and rogues have alternatively dominated, as different gears have been released over the last 5 yrs of its introduction.

Was it better when rogs were killing it in 1-2s before S28?

If more people would learn strategy and actually learn how to use a character without solely depending on gear to hide behind there would be way less threads like this. I can play right through areas with old gear and not that great of awakes that most people would swear takes the latest & greatest Kraken sets to even touch.

Does any rogue or warrior is here who tried to compete in those maps? I would like to see them + maybe some vids that they actually try it. For me it looks like only 5 people try for it and those are randomly all mages.

😂 if you wanted to deal dmg like that you wouldn’t go warrior, they’re strictly for surviving and good at mob clearing and with polaris they can one shot boss aswell tanks are balanced.. besides in pvp they’re overpowered.
