Please stop doing this to staffs...

I've noticed a recent trend with staffs, especially longer ones where the grip is in the wrong place (all the way at the end like its a baseball bat):







These are staffs not bats, it doesn't look balanced. They should be gripped from here:







By the way I'm not asking you to change these staffs. I just want you to consider having a middle grip going forward (especially for staffs the are long-medium in length).

I know its not a new rig because Siafira staff (a recent staff) is griped from the middle (not exactly the middle but it looks stable):



And you can't use the excuse of lore and claim sorcerers in arlor hold it that way because:




(Imagine if she was holding this from where the red circle is... exactly it doesn't look right)


Please I'm begging you, stop making these longer staffs look like baseball bats. That grip works for items like swords or tiny wands but not these longer staffs. Thanks for reading, and I hope you forward this to the art department.

I would say about 1/3 of the length from the hilt would seem more natural.

I think they messed with the naming, if was little bit shorter with this grip should be wand or scepter.
The arc flash staff looking more like a selfie stick.

I was calling them bats but selfie stick is a bit more accurate especially now that they point upwards.
