Plat quest bugged with new update for everyone who doesn’t know

I'm guessing that you don't have the item that is required to start the quest - or you haven't used it.

What is that specific item? I am plat and finished the badge quests, and it still says that I have not completed the requirements for the quest. Everyone who reached plat earlier already crafted the badge. Am I missing something?

All it says is about the instructions on how to complete the event.

No. It's working fine - you just need to find the item that's required to start off the quest. When you use the item in the right place you'll get the quest.

guys how do i start this quest? I tried reading the tome but it's not working. I tried stepping on 5 dead bodies scattered in the event map, still not working.
