Why is Classy Looter like this?

I bought this classy looter exire but it is like fake or scam to spend my money to buy it and i also try to see if it work but it didnt never even got a single pink this wasted my money . never worked on me but why i felt i got scam by buying this item.

Only good when you use it for special events like wf or forgotten event (since bows are only good)

You can still get pinks but if you think about it the elixir can actually decrease the chances of a pink. Say if a pink that need 150 dexterity is about to pop up gets replaced by a grey that needs 10 strength.

Classy items is done to make you drop items FROM YOUR CLASS, as "classy" evoques..

I think a dev said it drops according to your most dominant stat.

So say my warrior was a dex bear and had 150 str, 200 dex. (arbitrary numbers)

I'm pretty sure dex items would drop, while under a Classy Looter buff.

Tbh I have never used this elixir; I play all classes so I can always use the drop on another toon. And even if I had only one toon, I could always sell the item to buy what I need

I understand that it could be useful. How? E.g. you are farming Emma and you want the Sanguine Longbow, right? No robes, staffs etc that she also drops. So you use "classy looter" (however, this does not guarantee that you get Sanguine and not Vampyr longbow hehe - you might also get a dagger!).

But what happens if you have a full int mage and you want to farm the longbow? Also, for most bears dex > str, but they use str gear. How are they going to farm str items? Useless.

I think the best (and obvious) option would be to let the user choose their preferred statistic immediatelly after the purchase. Unless they changed it and it works like this now? If this is the case let me know please

It doesn't drop what class you are, nor only what your highest stat is. it will drop what you can use. For example, when forgotten items had no base requirement, I would receive staffs, bows, and swords while playing my bird.

You are probably right sue. Actually, the store description is in line with what you say ("make every item drop tailor-made for your character").

In order to farm the longbow, the best thing to do would be to have the classy (and anything that gives you a reroll) but put that on a pure dex toon of any class, then pray to the gods of random.

In the case of the duel bear, he could loot anything he meets the requirements of, so if you wanted to farm only st, then put the classy on a pure st farmer.

Even if this was true... You could re roll a grey that requires 10 dexterity into a pink that requires 150 strength. It would go both ways, so it wouldnt decrease chances of a pink.

Note that Longbow was just an example... not valuable any more anyway... Oh and to be fair I got it twice during Fang cap, so this is not a *boohoo-I am-so-unlucky* post lol.

I appreciate your suggestions (and they are correct), but there are technical issues: e.g. any full str character is very bad for farming, due to low hit%. Doubt that any team would farm with a full str toon. And most importantly do I need an army of farming toons (or respec all the time) to farm for specific items on top of paying 60 plat/hour for this elixir?

So the question/suggestion is this: classy loot is supposed to make things easier, that's why it costs 60 plat. Why not let me choose the stat I want when I buy it. I think this is resonable

Not sure how many people agree and how difficult it is to implement. An easy way to do it would be to have one classy looter elixir for each class, there you go. Then, if someone wanted to farm, e.g. dex stuff, they could use Classy Looter - Dex version.

Ok "pure st farmer" was a bad example. Make it a farming toon with too little dex to meet dex requirements on equipment at that lev.
I would like your idea tho, havin the lix be stat specific for us, but I have been able to work around it so far.
