agreed. Getting garbage makes the grind even worse. At least with other quests (Snowball, Cyber), you end up getting some pink drops along the way to make you feel like you'r not just doing repetitive work.

I'm in the same boat fn.

I'd really like to get that quest done, but I've given up on it after about 100 Ichor's. Time spent vs reward given is just not worth it IMO.

But yeah, I can only speak from my own point of view. I just got too many things irl going on, so I can't spend hours a day to try and achieve a virtual item with the 'chance' I won't be able to make it in time.

Here's a crazy thought... They should've made Ichor's droppable loot. That way, people with time could sell it to people with gold for a lot of mulah. Of course needing 500 Ichor's in an inventory of max 500 items could be a problem, but they could make it so you could turn them in 1 by 1 like individual quest items or something

I feel you man, this was one hard grinding quest to do...know the frustration each is going thru...you still feel the same even after getting 400 of them ichors. I hate clearing that main room just to get nothing. It does take 2,000 plus runs to complete & u wish u would get a Black Dragon pink drop here or there, would definitely help the frustration!

To be fair, I wouldn't only blame scatter bears. Mages that use firestorm in the middle of the map are equally annoying.

I agree. This is worst than grinding to any elite cap. Here's another idea... Don't make the quest go away. I think that part is bs.

Or better yet, if you complete the quest, you'll start the next cap at 75.

LOL. We had one of those who kept joining our runs yesterday. He kept rounding up all the bad guys with taunt and then he would lead them right to us and one or more of us would get killed. So we started just backing off and then he started to get killed a lot and we just laughed at him, so then he got upset and left.

I'm a bear, and I don't know why many bears cannot just understand that beckon and stomp are very useful tools, but the goal is to push the bad guys to the sides of the dungeon, not to pull them to the middle or scatter them. If your beckon pulls more than 3 or 4 bad guys at a time, then you are not using it in the right situation.

Well, there are many ways to clear the map.
Drawing them to the center is one way.
The point is the bears can't use beckon and stomp, they need to taunt and use normal attacks.
Leave it to the birds and mages to clear the mob in a few seconds.

Second alternative is to make small pulls.
Draw one half of the room to where ur team is, then do the same with the rest on the other side.

Because this quest takes (too) long I don't feel like clearing the mob one by one, especially when u have nonelixiered party members. A good party clears in 90-120secs (2-3 ppl on thrasher or 2x elixier).
Ask players who finished the quest already what ways they used to speed up the runs.
But anyways, do whatever works best for u ^_^

btw. ya,the reward isnt really exiting... a copy from a existing item..

+1 to this. i gave up on this quest after several fruitless runs. its just annoying. they can make it up to 1000 or even 2000 but at least make each run count! im very close to giving up on PL because of this, just after i bought 800 tokens last sale, stoopid me...
