Because most MMOs which I have played (which had pet systems), pets were unable to use in PvP arenas.
Could end up into immense kiting + the fact that a guy with an op pet could simply walk into PvP arena and rush everyone without breaking a sweat...
that would be cool i hope we can name them lol
