Is it fine to use VPN?

For the past few days I've been using VPN since my ping ingame suddenly became so bad since past few days....idk what happen but when im playing other games or something the internet was fine as usual but when i enter the game the ping spike and i cant even get into map sometimes ;-; so im just wondering if it's actually fine to use VPN cuz I've heard some ppl saying its not safe to use VPN , i can get banned and so on.....so i just wanna confirm back if its safe to use VPN cuz or else i wont be able to play this game XD

And im not doing like plat offer or something so i guess i should be fine?lmk tysm

Using VPN is absolutely fine as long as u don’t get near those plat offers, once you click on those plat offers while VPN is on you’re instantly getting banned.
