I am a returning player. Where do players farm gold nowadays? What's the easiest and most difficult map to farm gold?

I don't have end-game gear or OP gear, but I will grind my way up there. Please let me know. Thank you.

There's no farming currently, the event maps are difficult for new players and the only gold farming map got nerfed to the ground. Just wait for a decent event or stand in camp, that's it there's nothing more in game currently. I suggest come in goblin event or in lvl86 expansion.

The game overall is just dying its not fun anymore lvl 81 arcs ruined pvp awakes procs warriors having 1 Trillion hp and no new players because of the Exchange UI has been removed from Vendors and now is in the store for plat and on top of that theres no ads on youtube drawing new players in no adds only 1 add from 11 years ago ..

. It's always good to see original players return. You will need quite a bit of gold to get ok gear & pet but not Billions. anyone tells you that you need to be a billionaire to play doesn't know how to play.

You'll need much, more than 2b since u asked for the best gear, warrior class will be the cheapest, just jewels(flawless) are over 700m for 21x pieces.

OP asked for the best gear for pvp, kraken set clean is around 400m for warrior, that with one weapon only, and not even close for be the best gear for pvp, since its clean.
Not be scared when u see how much costs an 10% primary stats weapon, 8% primary stats helm, belt, etc.
Also don't forget bracelet, that currently the best one is mythic, that clean only costs 200m or 300m+ not sure.
Flawless are the best jewel rn, fury one costs 35m each. Full gear 8/8 uses 24. Total of 840m just in jewels.

So... boredom + Locked Crates caused me to quit...

..but I'm thinking about returning to Arlor and wondering what the current community on these Forums think about the game, its monetization methods, and maybe how they could be improved!

Op clearly asked for pvp gears and not the gears used to play pve....

If you want pvp gears then ofc you will require billions of gold but if you only want to play pve then even clean kraken gears will work fine.

You still don't need to be a billionaire to play pvp. people use gear in place of skill is always the problem. Of course you need good gear but not billions worth. If someone don't understand what that means then they clearly haven't played long enough.
