Edit feature in forum

Hi, i've been trying to update my guild's thread for a few days with no luck at all, all the edit buttons are gone from the post and cant seem to find a way around.

I've tried making a new post and i can edit it without any problems, a guildmate told me that the edit feature is now only available for 10 minutes from the date of the post.

Is this intentional? If so, how are we supposed to edit pues threads with up-to-date information?
The opening post of a guild thread is the main page that shows the most important data of a guild such as current gm/officers, joining requirements, etc.

If this change was intentional please revert it to its previous state.
