Login Rewards

Next server publish (tomorrow morning), we are introducing login rewards. Login rewards are a series of escalating timed chests that you can open. All rewards are bound AND per account, not per character.

The lobby top bar has been updated with a Login Rewards button. The button will show a badge if you have a login reward to collect.



If you have a login reward ready to collect, you can hit the Claim button.



What kind of rewards are there? Can I see what the rewards are in-game?

Speedups, currencies, elixirs, potions, and even slots! All rewards should be hardcore-friendly.

The earlier bronze don't give out slots, but the final chest gives one of the following guaranteed items (containing one slot):

• Bound Auction Slot Kit
• Bound Character Slot Kit
• Bound Crafting Inventory Slot Kit
• Bound Crafting Slot Kit
• Bound Furnishing Inventory Slot Kit
• Bound Hotbar Slot Kit
• Bound House Slot Kit
• Bound Inventory Slot Kit
• Bound Stash Slot Kit

For non-slot items, these will be given directly to the character claiming the reward. The slot kits are stashable (not tradable), so you can use them on other characters. Once the final chest has been claimed, the sequence resets.

We may add support in the future for viewing the login reward loot, but for now, we don't.


What happened to Klaas and Shazbot?

They're still in the game, but no longer accessible in the lobby. You can visit them at their existing locations and they still give the same rewards. We may collapse their rewards into the login rewards at some point.


What can I do with slot X if I'm already at the limit?

We will not give you the choice of a slot or allow you to replace slot types. You can attempt to use it on another character and if you can't because you've hit the limit account for your account, you can liquidate the item.


Can we earn Gold or Platinum with login rewards?

Sorry, both Gold and Platinum are excluded from login rewards.

Good idea , otherwise it ain’t that useful for people who already have max slots in a few categories , they can surely use them on other characters but the ability to convert them to other slots would be great and more motivating to come online and collect rewards daily .

Overall a great update , now I think no one should have complains regarding slots being removed from vendor, this is even better for newer players .

+1 , please add some platinum to the daily reward list , adding a platinum chest chance would surely make people login everyday

It is better than nothing but let's be realistic - a chance for one(!) random slot once in 5 days doesn't move the needle at all.

Crafting, furnishing, inventory and stash kits should grant at least 10 slots because cap is 1,000 and getting there by one random slot once in 5 days never gonna happen (a matter of many years).

House kit should have 5 slots.

Other kits fine with 1 slot.

Instead of this RNG based system it would have been much better if you just granted some special currency that would allow buying all that stuff at a vendor. My gut tells most of the time that random reward will be not what is needed the most.

That would let people focus on stuff they actually need. For those who has capped all slots there could be gold chest or something else.

How much gold will be dropped from this? I see gold as in issue as many people will spam create alt accounts to try and loot gold from the daily chest. Maybe add untradeable furnish items / banners for x amount of days logged in a row, titles for logging in 100 days in a row, even some badges. All bound, gold will be an issue though imo.
