For twinks I think yes, but for endgame you want to chase crit damage

OP OP. This is same combo for mage except Mage uses H Gar Happy.
H Glokus + Phoenix/Frostb + H Tadthep another OP boss combo for any char that doesn't already have 70+% crit
A less expensive one? No. Arc sapphire is in its own league, there's not a single pet to compare it to.
Decent substitutes?
Obsidyas passive (boss only for armor/DMG reduc)
Poksau (again for armor reduc on boss)
Arc Yowie (cool passive with 35% armor reduc attached)
Some ideas to use before you can afford saphh
Like I said in my comment above I think H gar happy is better, frostbitten is for the crit DMG mostly (also keep in mind they using frostbitten over phoenix cuz mephisto AA is non-stacking)
But this is just cuz I'm a mage main and haste is more important stat there
If u needed/wanted haste for this build u can definitely get that with the Ability

No you can slot eggs inside of the original pet
It depends on which map you want to run
