How about getting arcane points instead of xp after reaching max level



Every 1000 XP to 32 arcane points



With this arcane points we should be able to use a title which shows our arcane points count :



Arcane points lb should also be there !










It would be fun to have this feature , after getting maxed anyways u don’t get xp in lower zones so it’ll be pretty nice to get arcane points increase of xp in current expansion maps (eg. zodias maps). After maxing only we should be able to unlock this feature
Eg. If new expansion came then should our points become 0 ? (NO) it should not add more till not maxed to the new expansion level . After maxed we should be able to get the points from earning more XP.

We should get a badge on lb which should stay with us till in LB .
Eg. I have 3,000 points and I am at 25th position (last place) , someone just came at 3001 points then I should be removed from lb and my badge should be removed and it should be granted to the one who has 3,001 points.

so its like farming pve after reaching max level, but quest xp also counts?
we used to have pve lb and then it got removed due to botting so i dont see this idea coming to reality aslong as its pve farming..

Many players bot in Hauntlet because hauntlet botting is easy. One possible solution could be to stop granting XP/PVE kills in Hauntlet and implement measures to prevent botting. However, it's essential not to hold back on introducing exciting features just because there's a fear of bot usage.

Exactly, you can’t hold back features because of bot usage , just add solid bot prevention measures and randomness so that it gets very hard for the bot users .

+1 , the idea is pretty neat.

But I would suggest that the points get reset seasonally, so that even new / not so active players also have a chance to participate in lb when season resets.

Not allowing seasonal resets can maintain a continuous progression and recognition for long-term players.. so I’d suggest no reset of points. Maybe reset points every expansion!

Sorry, this one slipped through the cracks.

First off, stellar mockup/design, very clear and concise. Looks like you're trying to find ways to continue to earn something even though you're at the level cap.

I agree with both the pros and cons players have already presented in this thread with regard to previously removed leaderboards, seasonality, botting, min/maxing for difficulty, etc.

That said, it's not an immediate no, so you've got a nugget here we can refine, and you're free to revise the design in this thread.

maybe, just maybe, hear me out.. activating it means you reset to level 1, resetting all dungeons too, and you can only gain xp from a spin-off of elite lb runs???

So you must start at "forest" but it takes you 10-15 minutes to clear it so perhaps xp should be handled differently, maybe in the way mobs drop xp orbs in the bog on PL but make the orb travel far to prevent easy botting.

this all seems like a huge addition to the game though and it might not even be fun

It’s not a thing to activate . It should be automatically (once you are max level)
