Default Star Legends Boss Guide - Du 'rrex The Devastator [2nd part]

    Link to Youtube video.

The end part of the guide of killing Du 'rrex The Devastator. Without enhancers! Thanks for all your great help guys.

I hope my method helps you out too. Those trees weren't made solid after last update for no reason.

    Tactic explanation[before 50%]:
-The first to get to the area before zyra waits for regroup. Then you stick to the right wall and move until you reach the first tree. Swipe the surrounding mobs out. Extend your walk a bit to get the ones to the center. You don't want to be bothered later, trust me.
-Get the aggro and stand behind a tree to cover. If he is not close to tree move a few steps back[5-7] and forward(repeat to get him as closer as possible).
-On this first half, it is easy for you to time your skill combos(which will be consisted by 2 at a rush max), because all you have to do is synchronize with his laser ray. At the very moment you see it starting, start your attack too.
-For your own convenience, you will need to take out the healers before he regains full HP. First killer comes around 50% and second 25% of Du 'rrex's lifepoints. If he is behind the tree, inside the (incoming eng)--(tree)--(x) line(x is rex) the tree will block his healing!

[After 50%]He stops attacking with laser and starts his rush-and-then-laser attack. This is the part you see in the video; well this is 30% and down but you got the point. The one with aggro, if he wishes to attack he must make his rushes much shorter(1-1.5 secs/attack). Or else Du 'rrex verifies his location(assuming that your position behind the tree is partially uknown to him) and will rush you with 150-250 start-up damage, knock back and then laser attack. Laser attack consists of two parts: one, a stun ray paralyzes you at your exact location for the next 2 seconds. Two, the real laser comes burning away 210-280 of your HP with first hit and then another 4 burns of 100 damage/each. Simple english, it kills you if you don't hide and heal fast enough. So keep hugging that tree. No humping though.

-At this point, he will frequently aggro and rush other players. This is a good time to analyze how exactly aggro is calculated. First of all we have these variables: Damage Dealt and Distance From Player. Assuming everyone is in his radius, next thing that comes is class and armor gear/level(or statistics, if you prefer). He will attack classes in this pattern: Commandos>Engineers>Operatives. Class factor also often overpowers level factor. For example, if you have a level 46 engineer and a level 44 commando, it's more likely he will aggro the commando. Keep in mind that there is also a randosity factor/variable so every team member should be ready to hide at any time. Finally, it is obvious he will always go for the ones with enhancer if someone is using one, because their stats are boosted.

-On 25%, try to position him as we explained above and quickly take out his second engineer without moving. After that, he won't take long. Pretty much dead already, so congratulate yourself but keep an eye for random rushes. Aaaaand that was it! You managed to kill him as a normal team, no enhancers invloved! Kudos! Practise this a few times to lower your total kill time and repeat for the maximum chance at a legendary piece drop!

-If you wish to use this guide, do so freely. If you wish to spread this, just remember to put below where you found it. That is all.

-Keep your eyes peeled for more Boss Guide videos, because I'm preparing the next one as you read this. Hehe.

    Operative, Madnex

Thanks for the tip hunter, thought it would be harder than that haha.

Thanks for your replies everyone! I'm making a guide to solo Tarasa with all 3 bosses in right now!!! Total stimpacks spent to 50%: 13.

Will make one for Tarasa & Numa Zyra and AI Du 'rrex too.
