Level 86 Ranked Honor PVP
Happy 86 to you all! For those that love ranked honor pvp as much as I do, then you must be aware of the new ranked weapons for each class.
With the new update, there is now a new class of weapons with rogue, warrior and mage! However the new weapons seem unbalanced and can negatively affect Honor PVP gameplay.
New Rogue Chakram weapon - The chakram weapon is now a throwable weapon that returns to you and when charged, performs a push action that makes enemy characters move away from the direction of the chakram. As I compared this new weapon to the old weapon in game, it appears that the damage is insanely broken. A couple rogs in normal arena while testing the new weapons were hitting 4.7-5.2k crits and killing me with one aimed shot/combo!
New mage weapon - the new mage weapon is a multi-target weapon that also has the same “push” action to targets. However it now also targets ALL enemies that are in range of its hitbox, meaning regardless of the position of where you are, you get pushed away based on which way you face.
New Warrior weapon - out of all the weapons, I would say that this weapon is fairly balanced. There aren’t any noticable differences from the other weapons, aside from the range of the new warrior weapon. It is noticably further in terms of the hitbox and with a slightly slow DPS output compared to the normal sword, but aside from that, the new warrior class seems fair and balanced.
As someone who plays all roles in Honor PVP, I would like to request a thorough look into this issue as the current stage of Honor PVP seems unfair to play with. The current hitboxes, damage, and the overall “push” effect from the new weapons makes the gameplay of honor PVP unbalanced for new and experienced players and may very well affect the overall participation of honor PVP.
