Not really a remake more of a prequel to the John Carpenter's The Thing. Telling the story of the Norwegians prior to the infected dog showing up at the US camp.

some good movies in here, seen enemy mine in French, still think I understood most of it (don't understand French)
Thing was scary, but there are many monster movies where the monster came from space -- eg The Host
