Inherent issues with AL for New Players

What is wrong with you, they are getting what they deserve, they work hard for their gears.
And how many times I'm gonna say this to you.
They are getting it because they run many times more than you and not all people like you(lazy/dont have time) have a patience to run many times how we do. So don't expect to get what we got.
How many points did you get last catacombs?
How many points in labyrinth?

300k points in catacombs and around 700k in lab, so don t matter if you do many runs. It matters your gear and the damage you deal to boss in short time.

No I didnt even open lockeds. And that sounds boring to me if we get everything for fixed prices. Also I personally dont think its hard to make enough gold as a new player to buy a kraken weapon or armor since their release.

I have to disagree with OP here. A light and static drop in price is much more healthy than dropping all krakens to 10m in catacombs. It should happen over time when new gear is being released.

The issue here is that events don't make players much gold unless the event has a super rare item and you are EXTREMELY lucky.

I ran 2021 top 25 halloween and winter lb, selling everything I farmed. I barely made 20m I think? As someone who did over 6k runs. Idk, maybe it's different now? Haven't run events lb in a while.

Mythic set can't even tickle bosses and Arcane set is too expensive. Players without Arcane set are in a very awkward spot!

Perhaps it'd be better to add more power to mythics. I have been running elite ekenta with randoms lately, Mythic Set users might as well be invisible, the damage is nearly non-existant.

Or atleast having a different map for new players to farm that drops decent gold for them which can be used to farm towards arcane would be nice. Recent nerfs to normal version of the maps have pushed everyone to elite.

No one likes farming with players using mythic set, but Kraken Set is too expensive for new players.

Too expensive? I mean almost impossible to achieve. Just a Gun + Armor is 140m.

Only Elite Portal bosses at the moment drop gold worth counting. And no one wants to make a party with mythic set users.

This has developed a toxic culture when running randoms, players with Kraken set will often leave or trash talk/mock the mythic set.

It saddens me that Devs had such a good opportunity to fix this issue via labyrinth but chose not to.

First ever labyrinth decreased the price of the best gears (mythic set) down to just 10m for a set because it was for 3 weeks I think? , it was 100m+ prior. This labyrinth could have had the same effect. Besides, 81 arcanes are gonna be out-dated soon.

Even if they didn't want to over-saturate arcanes in the market, Mythics are nearly useless. Waiting for mythic weapons to proc is just not the meta anymore, Devs need to adjust accordingly.

You can kinda foresee that this problem is only going to be aggravated when Zodias gets a gold nerf in benefit of the new expansion's gold farming spots.

Either kraken arcanes or new 86 mythics needs to be easily accessible for players to do Elder wood content.
If so I hope it is through crafting, fair for everyone.

It's not about me, when I came back to the game, I had a lot of vanities which I sold and got my gears.

It would be impossible for me to farm gold if I didn't already have the vanities I sold.

The point is that no one wants to play with mythic set users, and mythic set does nothing in maps that drop good gold.

Not really, i remember playing with taint set 3 years ago. Back then Arcane Staff was 18m.

Playing few events, getting carried in Deep Marsh a little and you could afford Skratch Staff. Ebon Armor was 15m-ish too.

Now Krak Armor is 90m still and Weapons are 50m+

Sew the difference? Lol.

Exactly, items are expensive but no real way for players to earn that much gold and keep up with inflation. They earn next to nothing.

It won't, they will rather form parties, Mythic set users will have to play alone or together taking 1 hour to kill erahab.

How will they ever afford Kraken at that rate?
