guys can u tell me how to play mage?

im kinda confused what kraken awaken should i choose. many of them said ms but if i get ms awaken when the proc is on, shouldnt we change to zaarus set when proc is on? if we changed to zaarus the ms will be slow again. what i saw people running on lb is they proc kraken but they didnt change the set and easily kill the mobs and boss. so is zaarus set necessary? if kraken set can kill most of them. please explain me the right way to build mage and kill mobs and boss fast and should we have zaarus for int awaken? need to learn thanks in advance

What they're doing is mix & matching their gear builds.

Make sure u have these 3 loadouts.

All int gears (zaar/krak sets/amu/ring etc) = max damage & low speed

Int gears + ss (ring/amu) = decent speed & damage

Ms gears + ss (ring/amu) = max speed & low damage

Once you proc kraken u can switch to one of these gear loadouts depends on the situation.

Falling behind others? Switch to (ms + ss) to catch up to them.

Want to kill mobs on the run?
Proc krak then switch to (int + ms) & spam auto/skills

Want to kill boss? Proc krak then switch to (all int gears) For maximum damage.

Some people have SUPER OP INT awakes on Kraken set so they just use that and don't need mythics. OP players with arcane set can reach 3k+ INT.

New players players should use Arcanes + Mythic.

Awakes on Arcane don't really matter unless you have big budget for 3k+ int. That is why MS awakes are recommended.

You use the Kraken with MS to get near mobs/boss, proc Kraken, and switch to mythic set.

Are u rich? What's ur budget? I need that info to tell you what is the most best set.

You may not even need Zaarus depending on ur budget.

If you are super rich, you can get 3.1k INT with all Kraken. That's the best damage set possible. Don't need mythic for damage. You can get high MS mythic or Holley set.

If you are not super rich, you need high INT mythic set. You proc arcane and switch to mythic. In this case, MS awake is good on arcane.

I have the same problem with my rogue. Switching to mythic set when pricing kraken makes u lose the weapon stats on the krak daggers like %crit damage and %elite damage, which then makes it worse than zaarus since I also have %dex awakes on kraken. Not really sure what to do, all tips given for mage and rog are useful
