im very disappointed that elite vanities lose their stats, but if u have a cop, mf armor and monarch helm, u get 3 pcs bonus?

Well he just did a big update an listed everythin thats goin to change, an he didnt list the mt fang drags, so im goin to assume they will stay the way they are, makin them still wanted. And they have probably discussed this scenario, i doubt they would do that, you know how many people bought drag pets because it links with the dropped items to give bonus, ALOT

The "that op get-to-the-cap-in-4-days shield" isn't really OP. It's just a fun, weird item. When I get a chance to set up the black dragon vanity turn-ins, I'll probably make one for this too. But, for now, I made it stat'd and made it contribute to all the two-handed (defensive) itemset bonuses. You'll already be getting the Eye of Eternity vanity offhand, so I figured it would more fun to get a stat'd offhand for the bonus elite level cap item...if you're TOTALLY LOCO AND PLAY LIKE CRAZY THIS WEEKEND!!!!

So basicaly the people who had started grinding from the sewers and all the way to get all three really doesnt matter becuase if u just started playing and have shield armor and new helm get same thing as people who grinded sewers and have stuck with this game and keeped playing and paying to get all three becuase there are to many people crying? Little unfair ive payed my dues 60k plat spent and looking back now i find it all a big waste sad days Why not have a ring for people who have all 4 or even better founders helm and shield???? This gets funnyer every level cap

1) i thinks its a great idea to do what they're doing!
2) well gives uniqueness to wearing any vanity you want witht he bonus i.e you can still wear all three first vanities and be pro with the look again. So technically they cut down the complaining and now someone gets butt hurt cause they made it more fun? Seems legit...

Forgot to mention in my above post that the ability to stack dragon and elite bonus coupled with the loss of ability to wear Plat purchased rings will make Dragon sets even more OP and could possibly make there prices GO EVEN HIGHER!

If you could even fathom any PL item being worth more than 50mil, i think your about to see it, unless something is done.....

I wasn't complaining...lol.. so, no need to rage. It was nothing more than an observation that I believe has some serious effects on not only the economy but a neglected endgame PVP aswell.

You had the very best when it was the very best. Just the same when I ground out my Epic Weapon in EverQuest. It was the best of the best and very hard to get at the time. If I went back to EQ now, I don't think it would be - but my little Gnome would have mad bragging rights with my staff of the serpent, but that's about it. Or in WoW, when I was one of the first Paladin's on my server to get The Unstoppable Force. It was a grind, but so satisfying to have at the time. Now, it's just something to take up bank space.

I know that we can do more to honor our long time players, but at the same time it is important to keep a somewhat level playing field so that newcomers don't feel they can't ever possibly compete. Hopefully you can see a bit of our side and we can acknowledge your side as a valid complaint. Thanks for your feedback and thanks in advance for your understanding.

Personally, I think all vanity bonuses should be removed. This would include founders helm and dragon sets.

As mentioned by Sam in his original post, one of the reasons to remove vanity set bonuses is to not make everyone look alike. Now everyone will just run around in dragon vanity sets. How's that any different from what we had?

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining here. It's just that the whole 'vanities should be just vanities' is only true for the elite vanity items.

may I ask how taking away the ability to stack plat ring with elite vanity, but at the same time making elite bonus stack-able with dragon sets is keeping level playing fields? Or will dragon sets be losing there stats aswell?
