furnishing inv slots but no slots for actual house??

So am I understanding this event correctly - we can get extra furnishing inventory slots so we can have lots of new furnishings also dropped by the event..... but we DON'T get any new spaces in our actual house? So I have all this new stuff but can still only put five items in my house at a time. Yeah??

They added 100 but the new house comes with 50 extra so if you have the new house you have 150 extra
