I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but in the last 2 days nobody is buying anything at all, not even the new gear. I got 30+ cs slots, so normally when I have them filled a few items sell every hour, especially on Saturday which is one of the busiest days. But today like 3 items sold all day. And even new pinks which I priced lower than any others in cs, were not sold.

It's as if everyone wants to save their money for the new gear, but nobody wants to pay high prices, so everyone is just waiting and not buying anything at all. What about all the lower level players? They don't seem to be buying either. I got lots of lvl25-50 stuff for sale, set items that usually sell quick, and nobody is buying those either. Very strange. I've been merching for 2 months now, and never seen a day like this.

I see it too, I'm always in CS and keep seeing the same things listed over and over.

I think people are finally done paying high high prices for new gear number one and all the changes and potential changes STS may make to any gear (Lv56 Glyph, Dragon Vanities) people are nervous to invest in anything. All they're buying is things that they will use, not anything that may potentially rise or drop in price. People are scared to death to lose their pixel gold.

mostly all "pros" are over L50. most of players under L50 are noobie, maybe dont know what is good to buy where to buy or what to buy

Cs and trading in game is still healthy for me. Although prices are lower I'm selling about 50-65% of stock each day.
It was higher in the old days though but the decrease is happening more and more as more and more new players are learning how to merch. I've been teaching a few myself :-)

I haven't sold either of the new pinks I've gotten so far. Most end gamers I've talked to are waiting for the crafted sets to come out. Idk about lower level items, I haven't been watching them. I do see a lot of people announcing in balefort they are buying humania sets but they're looking for well below CS prices.

Well for me, its partly because I want prices to fall, and partly because its pointless for me to spend the money now.

I guess these are probably the same reason. They have fallen considerably the last couple days, but I still won't pay 5m for a set.

Pinks are dropping pretty frequently, and there's about to be a wild swing in prices. Everything in cs is overvalued by greedy merchs so I sell 10-15% below that. I've made probably 8 million since the new cap came out on lvl 75 pinks alone.

Once crafting is released prices will be a bit more consistent, everyone is being cautious right now, it's still a new cap.

I did 2 hours of 100% rerolls without any real luck in BSM.

Since I started this thread a couple of days ago, I'll add an update....

Sunday was a much better day and things were moving along much better. I sold most of my listed items on Sunday. I still don't know the exact reasons for the slow day Saturday. Most of the responses in this thread specifically refer to the new BSM gear, but most of my listed items were gear from previous campaigns. I tend to deal a lot in Alien Oasis 3/Shadow Caves/Sewers gear, and for some reason this stuff was selling very slow where as it normally sells fast especially on weekends.

Regarding the new gear, I think people were just waiting for the new gear to come down in price a bit, but as individual pieces dropped below 1m each, I think people started to buy (I know I did!). One theory I have is that those who buy the premium lvl50-55 gear are mostly end-gamers who are just buying this older gear for their twinks, so they stopped spending to save for the new gear for their end-game characters.

Whatever the reason is, things seem to be back to normal again!

I sell a lot of AO pinks in cs, and had a slow weekend for sales as well. My theory is that with new campaign, established players are leveling and farming on their mains for right now. Most players don't buy new gear for their alts or twinks unless they are playing and leveling those toons. Even at noob-levels, a lot of best-for-level is gear is purchased by players with high-level mains, I think.

I also agree that the player base in general is becoming more savvy to prices and merching, which isn't making it any easier. Just the same, I applaud and encourage those who want to learn more and hope sale pick up for us all

Ppl are pretty busy lvl'n, thats y cs' economy is kinda low these days. Esp when BSM maps,caps and challenges comes out before the 4 day challenge. My market is slow aswell, no doubt im having serious hunting and slowed on merching.

Woot L60 SM mace set 843k . Anyways I've just sold tiki god set and will buy it after the crash. Frankly, the only noticeable boost is the Str gear, the wand sets are even worse.
