Is this game still active & fun?

lots of p2w features now, BiS gear not lootable, so its not fun [for me].

however arcane catacombs is fun and innovative..

anyway most importantly.. inventory slots; in a game where the objective is to loot things that use up inventory slots... have become something very difficult to obtain, especially for new players - now new players need to pay roughly 5m gold to get 25 inventory slots [last time i checked]. That's why my choice is jakta, found a lot of great games&brand there.

other than that.. wcb and enjoy the new content

i'm still playing it in 2023 (almost 2024). Still good
