So I end up having 2 good crossbows: Heavy Crossbow of Finesse and Jewel Thief's Heavy Crossbow
I found they both sell at the same price, damage, and DPS on both are the same.
So I don't know why they have different color because one is not necessary better than the other.
Only differences are:
Heavy Crossbow of Finesse
6 Dex, 2% dodge, 2 armor
Jewel Thief's Heavy Crossbow
7 Dex, 2H/s, 2 armor
I found I like to use the Heavy Crossbow of Finesse when soloing because it is +dodge bow.
Don't really need health regen because my character is at 3h/s without bow already and archers don't get hit much.
If the Jewel Thief's Heavy Crossbow has both health + mana regen like the Jewel Thief's Ice Auto-Crossbow then that will be a different story.

Nathanyc seems to be using the Jewel Thief's Heavy Crossbow judging by the look of the bow and his DPS.
And seems like you have the Sniper's Battle Crossbow.
BTW, I think my setup is the same as yours, but I'm a birdman.
What are you guys wearing....is there any purple hats for archers around? Just curious.
Orange hat for me. I have yet to see any purple hats.
yea just looted this, the epic version just has more armour rating and dex than the blue version of this

Hello everyone, can someone tell me the helm that is the best for us? The armor is obvious ( i think) the Snipers bone tunic, the weapon can be Snipers battle crossbow or jewel thiefs heavy crossbow ( second looks really bad), but i dont know the hat that should be the besz for us.
Any recommendations about the items that I wrote? Are there better ones?

I think the best you can get is just yellow/orange items. But for me, I am wearing a white Penguine Snowcap of Evasion
Look closely at the numbers on the left side on these two hats,
I found that the +3 Dex on the Penguine Snowcap is equal and a tiny bit better than +1 dodge and 7 armor on the Theif's Penguin Snowcap. Because when you put them on, the +3 Dex not only made up for the +dodge and armor, but also +1 into Hit%... ya, difference is very small.
But the weird thing is when you select the other hat, it doesn't show Hit% -1, and shows Dodge+1 but the number is still 8, and Armor +0
what I use at the moment is a green hat, Pirates avian helmet,
2 dex, 1 h/s and 5 armor.

Well firstly, the -1hit% is due to the hit% coming from +dex stats, not from the item itself.
So the same applies for the dodge.
Try un equipping both of them, aka no helmet, and see how the stats are.

A Pirate Penguin Snowcap should be better then that in terms of armour.

the two best bows u cana get are the jewel thiefs auto crossbow and ....... frosty auto crossbow but its really hard to get i haven't got them
