I've noticed the different colors of loot and was wondering what they represent. What colors mean that they are rare and of better value?

I believe, in order of bad to good it is
Grey -> White -> Orange -> Green -> Blue -> Pink

Even though most green and orange > blue/pink

Grey=Common
White=Uncommon
Orange=Rare
Green=Very rare
Purple = Epic
pink= Legendary

Trash = grey
Common = white
Uncommon = orange
Rare = green
Epic = purple
Legendary = pink

Why don't they use red for Legendary. Seems a lot more fitting anyways.

Good and bad is relevent... alot of green items offer better stats like crit and dodge, rather the some pink items which have the same attack but stats like +7 str or dex etc
