Pets getting stuck

I've had this happen a few times where my pet gets stuck in place and I am no longer able to pick items up or use my top left skill (under pet skill) on the current map. Only leaving the map fixes this ATM. Not a lag issue ause I can still fight and talk to other people. The skill is always skyward smash if that's helpful at all. (Im able to charge it but it won't fire.)

I tried remapping skyward smash to other buttons and it still won't work but the skills take its place do. So I'm getting skyward smash could be part of the problem.
