Community Contest! Arlor's Most Legendary Cosplayer
Does your vanity collection and eye for fashion transcend the Arlorian realm?
In Arlor's first official cosplay contest, combine your favorite Arcane Legends vanity pieces in a unique challenge: Create a cosplay of a non-Arlorian character! This could be your favorite movie, TV, or anime character. A pop-culture icon. A meme. Anything you can think of in the realms beyond Arlor.
Hint: If you're hurting for ideas, Arcane Legends already contains a few pop-culture inspired looks, such as the May the 4th sets. But originality will be a factor when selecting winners!
How to Enter
To enter, don your favorite cosplay look and find the perfect backdrop (environment can lend a lot to a great cosplay!), then snap a screenshot. Reply to this thread with the following template:
IGN: Remiem
Screenshot: Attach image or link to a free sharing site like imgur. Make sure the image is public! Gifs are acceptable.
Description: Tell us which character you're cosplaying and from where. Feel free to include an image of the original character or reference.
All images MUST:
+ Be no more than 800px tall or wide. (Most screenshots are larger than this! Please use an editor to resize.)
+ Include the full game UI (the whole screen, including IGN)
+ Have your IGN visible above your character (turn this on in Settings).
+ Include a visible chat log with a message that reads "Cosplay 2024"
To keep the thread as clean as possible, ineligible entries will be removed each day. Duplicate support questions will be removed if already addressed. This main post will be edited to answer FAQs.
Contest Rules
There are a few rules and guidelines for participation in this contest.
+ You may submit up to three (3) contest entries using any of number or combination of your in-game characters.
+ Entries and the reference characters must be "PG-13" and follow all forum rules. (No nudity, violence, or otherwise inappropriate content.)
+ Screenshots should follow all image guidelines above to be eligible.
+ Group cosplays are acceptable! But all players must post their own screenshot per the guidelines above.
+ Posts that do not follow the contest rules or image guidelines may be removed and disqualified. If your post is removed, you can always try again before the contest deadline.
+ Your account must remain accessible and in good standing to win and/or receive prizes. Prizes are awarded to the winning characters and can not be transferred.
+ Remember: "Borrowing" or sharing in game items is risky. If you're working with others to compose your cosplays, this is done at your own risk.
Prizes
It wouldn't be a contest without some fabulous prizes, right? Prizing for this contest happens in 2 parts.
Participation:
Creative costuming takes time and diligence in cultivating a superb collection and cohesive look. All eligible participants in the cosplay contest will receive:
+ The new < Master of Disguise > title.
+ A jewel chest with a chance to drop one random jewel for your class (ranging in quality from Standard to Precise).
Winners:
A panel of Spacetime Studios employees will review all entries an select their TOP 10 entries. The Top 10 entries will receive the participation prize AND:
+ The Master of Disguise badge
+ A "Riches" chest that can be opened to receive a random amount of gold up to 1,000,000 (min of 75,000).
Timing
Entries will be accepted starting at the time of this post and up until 12:00pm CT on Thursday August 22, 2024. Winners will be announced no more that 7 days after the contest ends.
