A special Mini-Event with a Leaderboard...
Or, a "Mini-Leaderboard" Event, if you will ;-)

HIGHLIGHTS
Short-Duration "Weekend" Event!
Runs from Thursday August 29th to Monday September 2nd

Talk to Moira the Huntress in Windmoore to get started!

Defeat Bosses to score Leaderboard Points
Any Boss! Any Level!
After defeating a boss there is a 1hr cooldown before you
can loot that exact same boss again. So it's variety for the win!

Collect the Titan Slayer's Jewel Chest from defeated bosses!
Opening these (free) chests will award additional score.

Boss Breaker Jewel

The Boss Breaker Jewel gives:
+1 STR/DEX/INT, +5% Boss Damage [+0.0465 STR/DEX/INT per level]
Requires Item Level 1-86, FIRST 3 STACK

Titan Slayer Loop Bracelet

Available for Levels 1 - 80 (in 10 Level increments)

Note: the Titan Slayer's Jewel Chest has mixed-level equipment loot.

Why don't you make it arena like on .gif with random boss spawn? Now the easiest way for capped players seems 1 particular map where you get boss kill in 5 sec... Someone get boss kill in 5 sec, and someone in 1 min working on APS. Totally fair. Event really sounds interesting, but hope you can consider bringing it in Arena format next time around with random boss spawn. LB event in time, when new aps just got released. I pick aps this time.

Im pretty sure orrick is lvl 71 so if youre over 76 you wont get dropps, no one will farm orrick

U forgot the lb version where the level will be 86.... With full party kraken/sb gears its easy

I was thinking of different boss, that can be done in 5 sec + sec here and there for remap, but Lb Orrick is also an option. Arena would be way better and more fun in my opinion. I can imagine facing Lord Rendtail (and many other bosses) in different environment than their usual "home". Maybe even with 1% - 5% chance to spawn 2 bosses together when joining arena. Breath of fresh air to the game, can you hear that STS? (i meant read not hear) :-)

Hmmm. Yeah. The spirit of this event is "run around Arlor and defeat all the bosses." It's not meant to be "cheese one boss for five days." So we've made changes.

- You will now be able to earn credit from any boss anywhere in the game regardless of level.
- You will now only receive score and loot from any specific boss one (1) time per hour.

So you can take your OP Level 86 Star Beast Legend and crush bosses in Brackenridge if you want. Join your friends at any level, and even help out some new folks!

The greater the variety of bosses you defeat the higher your score, the greater the chance you will be #1 Boss Hunter ;-)

Everybody loves gauntlet type events (except for those who don't) and we enjoy making them. A boss arena / boss gauntlet type event would be very cool. Making it suitable for all levels could be a very daunting challenge unless we make it a solo experience. Nevertheless, it's something we will consider for a future event.
