Why not make an option to play with another players pet, giving then a small happiness bonus or something like that?

the idea of feeding pets is for players to use gold ----> less gold in economy = a gold sink
if everyone goes around petting each others pet the items will probably rise to the prices in PL and I don't think anyone wants that.
