new ipod touch 4g - cant buy platinum

I recently purchased the new fourth generation ipod touch and it is not possible for me to purchase platinum.

Within the game, when I press to purchase platinum, I see the walking dude "loading animation" and then am kicked back to the purchase platinum screen.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game to attempt to fix this, with no luck. No amount of platinum works. It simply shows a loading screen briefly then kicks me back to the same purchase platinum screen.

Any suggestions? Is this because of iOS 4.1? The 4th gen ipod touch? I emailed support several days ago and have received no response - maybe they just don't want my money?

i have a ipod 2g running ios4.1 so i dont think its that. its prolly something on spacetimes end.

Spacetime support is usually very responsive. If you have not heard back yet, that probably just means they are having trouble figuring out what is causing the problem. Perhaps they don't have a 4th gen iPod Touch yet, or something like that. Anyway, they will definitely respond to your issue, just give them time to figure it out

BTW, two quick questions.
Did you confirm your PL account through the email you were sent when you started your account?
Is your device jailbroken (not sure if that's possible with OS4.1 yet...)

I am also using IPhone4, same is you case , cannot buy platinum. I think it is 4th gen problem on this game, it make all of 4g cannot buy platinum..

Same problem, have iphone4 and iso 4.1
Emailed the support and they are looking into the problem as there are quite a few of us with it

On the sticky, they suggest checking if your restrictions for in game purchases are enabled. I checked and my restrictions were OFF by default, so I tried turning them ON but selecting to allow in app purchases. This worked, I have the iPod 4th gen.

It looks like this is just an intermittent problem with the itunes servers, but seems to be way more frequent with ios4.1. If the running man screen comes up and goes away without ever asking you anything, just try again. 1.4.1 will give more details about what happened in this case.
