cursewood gems not procing

the cursewood gems slotted into an item , do not give the elemental damage that is in the description of the gem .

i slot a cosmic gem which says it gives +10 cosmic damage . but in reality gives zero cosmic damage

They increase cosmic damage, instead of doing cosmic damage. If you don't have a source of cosmic damage( cosmic set or legendary weapon with cosmic dmg), those gems won't do anything for you

it doesnt say "+10 cosmic damage , BUT!! you need to wear either one or more elemental pieces for effect to take place "

if had known before hand with a little hint in game to let us know they dont work , cause now ive wasted my gems they be lost if i replace them .

Yeah, back when we got the goblin stones I thought 5% nature damage would increase damage as well, just as elemental damage, like the legendary weapons.
You're by far not the only one who made this mistake, so I agree, that having more info about what it does/doesn't do would be nice.

Yeah I think they explained how it works at some point, but there was no official info in-game
Depending on what u slotted ur gem into, it might still be useful to switch after proc-ing elemental items

slot 1 cursewood gem into a weapon , wear nothing else but the weapon . attack a boss nonstop with skills if need be .

if the cursewood gem procs the intended +10 elemental damage . it will proc a green puff of smoke on the enemy and will make a sound like the whirlwind skill of a mage , will also add a damage over time poison effect... if it doesnt , then the cursewood gem is useless

I don't know why u still thinking that cursewood gems has any type of proc, we already discussed in forum then you show me the "proc" in game, the proc you show me was actually from the elemental bracelet/artifact you were wearing
