Destroy the evil Maker before another creative soul of Arlor is forever imprisoned to do his bidding...
Malzarek the Maker was once a celebrated artisan who created lush beautiful fixtures for Arlor's wealthiest denizens. But when Alorians found out that he was imprisoning 'true' creative souls in his Abyssal Prism, forcing them to do all the work, he was exiled by King Vyromir (though the King retains a trove of Malzarek's dubious furnishings... as they are too beautiful to abandon, even for politics).
Work alongside Nasir, a bruised and broken warrior bent on rescuing his dear sister Farrah from the evil wizard before she is imprisoned forever in the Abyssal Prism.
How it Works
Visit Nasir in Windmoore to hear his plight. He will kick off a questline to help get to the bottom of where his sister Farrah is, and stop Malzarek the Maker before he can imprison her in the Abyssal Prism. Complete the series of quests and defeat enemies throughout to collect crates, furnishings, and a new accessory set. Plus, a new home and environment is available in the home vendor inspired by the Evil Maker himself.
Once Malzarek the Maker is defeated and Farrah is saved, you are free to return to any of the event zones to farm enemies and collect rewards.
Malicious Maker Farmer Elixir Kit
Consume a Malicious Maker Farmer Elixir (10 minute duration), purchasable from Nasir to increase your odds to loot certain items during the event:
+ House Deeds, including the new Voidstone Keep
+ Voidstone Furnishings
+ Housing Slots
...among others.
Voidstone Keep and Voidstone Furnishings
The opulent Voidstone styling is distinct and unmistakable, especially set against the electrifying backdrop of the Stormplains which also grant +5% Lethality. You can loot the deed and environment from Malzarek, or purchase it directly from the home vendor and store, respectively.

The Malicious Maker Set
The 3 piece set grants: +10% Critical Hit Damage, +10% Boss Damage, +10% Elite Damage, +10% Haste,
and a 1.5X multiplier to your Movement Speed.
Wear all 4 pieces to gain an additional +5% Critical Hit Damage (total of +15%), +5 Haste (total of +15%),
plus an extra +10% Damage, and an increased movement speed multiplier of 1.75X!

Look for the "Golden Key" Badge - a rare drop from any of the event bosses.
Locked Gear Crate of Malice
Locked Gear Crates of Malice, and their Massive counterpart available directly from Nazir, contain the usual locked crate suspects, including:
+ NEW Malicious Maker Set Ring
+ Lv 86 Arcane Blood Star Gear
+ Lv 81 Arcane Kraken Gear
+ Lv 86 Mythic Star Beast Gear
It also grants a guaranteed Lv 81 Arcane after 600 pulls.

Dungeons and Difficulty
The Malicious Maker Event features three different scenarios of varying difficulty.
You will unlock access to a hidden 'Orc Cave,' and a protect scenario in the 'Voidstone Keep.'
Both of these can be done solo or with friends, and both are considered to be moderate difficulty.
The third scenario, the 'Abyssal Prism' pocket dimension, is a solo encounter.
For this reason, 'Abyssal Prism' is considered to be of higher difficulty than the other two.
Note: these remarks are relevant to Legends with standard gear (up to Mythic) Levels 71 and under.
OP Legends with the most powerful items in the game will have no trouble (and are encouraged to help friends)!
Gold Loot
We all enjoyed the high gold drops of the Jarl's Escape scenario in the Occupy Windmoore event.
This event offers similar gold drops spread out among the scenarios.
Timing
The Malicious Maker is an energy-free event open to players of all levels. It will last for one (1) week starting 12/5/2024 at 1:30pm CT, and end on 12/12/2024 1:30pm with a 3 day cooldown.
