Preview - Lovecrafting 2025!

[Chessbunny]

Everyone could use a hug now and then, except the legendary Hugthulu and Hugthulu Prime. They're back, but it's up to you if you'll accept their deadly embrace.


Getting Started


Speak to Cupid in Windmoore to learn more about the Lovecrafting Event and the huggable threat that Arlor faces. He'll direct you to the portal where you can spend energy to enter the event zone.




Make your way through the map defeating enemies and the Merfkin mini-boss to collect L, O, V, and E candy letters. These can be crafted into event tokens, or a Love Letter to summon the second boss, Hugthulu Prime (more on him in a second).

Then, get ready for a fight! Hugthulu awaits.




Head back to Windmoore to chat with Remmi Amor for quests to gain extra tokens. She has 3 quests (2 daily) to complete.




Timeline

This two-week event will begin on Thursday, February 6th, and run through Thursday, February 20th, with a 3 day cooldown.


Event Scoring and Tier Rewards


Killing Hugthulu gives you Tier Points. Climb through Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Tiers for awesome rewards! At Gold Tier and above, use a Love Letter (crafted from Parchment Paper and L-O-V-E candy letters) to summon Hugthulu Prime at his altar! Killing Hughtulu Prime gives you significantly more Tier points.

Note: Hugthulu Prime is a Level 86 Boss only. While his level will scale, his stats will be equivalent to Lvl 86 no matter what level you are.

Merfkin: This mini-boss spawns in the event map and has a chance to drop the following loot:

Golden Merfkin: This rare-spawn mini-boss is similar to Merfkin, but has a chance to drop chests and special crafting ingredients when you wear the Farmer's Elixir:

Hugthulu: Make it to the end of the event map (after defeating the Merfkin) to face this boss. He has a chance to drop:

- Weapon Sharpening Stone (Used to craft vanity weapons]
- Ankhs, Revives, and Gold

Hugthulu Prime: After reaching Gold Tier, you'll unlock the option to face Hugthulu Prime.




Craft a Love Letter and present it at the altar in the event boss zone to be transported to his lair. Hugthulu Prime can drop:

Event looks good, could we stop getting wisp as plat tier rewards though? There's no Variety with plat tier rewards in events anymore, Always just some trash wisp that will never be worn and will be worth 300k. Where's the auras or vanity sets? And I'm assuming the wisp is just the rocket right, not the pool under it?

Now, that i've spent gold on thing/s i did not need you release gold loot jewels, eh. I like them and ofc i must have them. It is a good thing to keep me active. :-)

I have to say that last 3 vanity armors (for warrior) looked very good, and the one from Love event belongs to same category! I usually do not collect vanities, but i have bought temple armor, grove armor and i am going to get Blind love armor as well. I like design of armor vanities lately.

Lately you have been adding a lot of auras and halos, in my opinion, very ugly, with flat designs and filler auras. I would like to see less quantity but more quality. It's just constructive criticism. Although if that's how you want to decorate your game, I guess that's fine. I guess going back to where absolutely all the vanity designs were good is something impossible. Hopefully an option to individually hide the selected vanities. I'm sure it would hide quite a few designs from recent years.

Not that I disagree about the design part of the recent lb, but you are not obliged by anyone to spend 20 hours daily running it, and I also reinforce that the worse the rewards, the less time is needed to stay in the lb, as noted previously during winter.
