Bad idea. This is like opening Pandora's box. GCD was fun because it was fast paced so naturally people wanted it, but many aren't aware of its weakness. Clueless people will again complain about GCD and bring lots of drama, and many people don't even know why GCD was implemented in the first place. It's one of the touchiest issues I've encountered in all my MMO gaming, lots of people quit because of this during my early World of Warcraft days, this is mainly because of ignorance more than anything, and I always thought GCD was justified due to its exploitable nature. Now more people are aware of gaming peripherals that are easily programmable, without GCD, MMO's would be filled with macro players who are getting tremendous advantage, and I believe GCD was ahead of its time, people didn't understand why it was implemented then. IMO, GCD is one of the best things that ever happened in MMO combat contrary to what many is saying, these people who are against GCD are the ones who have no idea what macros are.

PS: There are skills that have no GCD in other MMOs, the ones that cannot be exploited such as non-stacking buffs, or debuffs. You can remove the GCD in those skills, but to remove the entire GCD across the board...that's playing with fire, you'll have ignorant people crying or quitting again once you remove it after the weekend.

Aww I don't want multi-tapping and extreme button mashing back. It would be cool to experience the old days for like 5 minutes lol, but I actually prefer GCD.. I hated it when it first came out though.
