For Merchants/Investors: Awakening Event

Looking forward to this awakening event, not because I am trying to make an OP 90MS awaken speed set and a 600% GL weapon but rather curious about how prices will fluctuate this time.

With the new plat prices (Cheaper Plat/USD) and probably 20k of unsold Arcane Awaken from the previous awakening event , I am curious how much will it actually be traded for on average and if it’s falls to very low like (1.3m/ Arc Awake) equivalent to a Key price. We MIGHT see Elite awake failing to rise to 850-900k like they used to during awakening event.

Other than that, vanities prices are bound to drop as many will look for pure gold to hoard for Arc Awakes during the event as a “sure win”investment/ they get hooked to gambling for that 90% MS speed set/stocking up to sustain till next awakening event/ buying 10k-20k Blue Awakes as a “sure win”, ETC. So, you might even see your wish list vanity going for rush sales coz that’s how precious gold is during the event!!

As you might have noticed many wholesale and stash clearance is happening now.

My recommendation is to hold as much PURE as you can before the event starts so you won’t be the one having rush sell your RARE vanities to secure BULK sales from whales which are usually are the most profitable trades and NEVER BE THE ONE RUSH SELLING rare items just because you need gold for some awakes because it’s TOO LATE at that point. Ideally you want to sell at a good price early and hold the pure.

In terms of how you spend the PURE GOLD is up to you to decide either to grab the “sure win” options to hoard some awakes for a small stable profit or risk it by grabbing the rare vanities that finally came out for rush sale is all up to you!!

Lastly, don’t forget to clear out all elite awakes stocks in time as they go crashing usually 1 Day before the event ends.


Quick Add On:
For SS/SB/Blood/Rusk/Kraken/Venal+Ava price
(Don’t really apply for rare gears like para items/elemental amulets etc.)

For OP awake gears the top end like (10%+ Stats(exclude weapon), 300% +GL raw Weapon / 100% GL Raw Armor Helm, 60% +MS SS etc.) these should remain stable as the demand remains extremely high unless STS decides to be nice by removing useless stats like Mana/XP.

Mid-Low End: We should be seeing a fall as many of such will be crafted specifically I.e 4%-7% stats ones. As many will be spawned especially with low awake prices.

Clean: These should rise especially clean snow chains as many would gamble for a high GL during the event which makes sense because that’s how we print money and from STS! You will even see 50% gold loot Venals selling at same price as clean.

It's purely hype and people are still not realizing this. The only use of awakening event is that the store will have arcane and blue awakes in stock.

Honestly if you're a seller of elites during the event for the inflated price, good. If you're a buyer however, ???????.

No it’s not about the hype, it’s a fact that elite awake usually rise during awakening events because there will be no stocks as plat buyer spend all their plats on arcane awakes for greater value /plat. And people know this so they are hoarding elite awake which is why you see a small spike already.

1.6m/ Arc Awake (10plat)
700k/Elite awake(5 plat)

Hmm could be, still makes no sense rationaly that a jewel that is available 24/7 rises by 50%. I won't be buying :>

Or we could just do what everyone is doing, buy as and stock up as many arcane awakes as possible. Then wait and sell for twice the price.

Hi Sunaxe, Yes that’s is a stable option which I suggested as “sure win” which what makes pure gold valuable during the event. However, if too many players spent plats, you will end up seeing a slower rise and reduced earning (many more factors). So hoard at a good entry price and don’t all in all your gold at day 1 as you might end up having to hold them for up to 1-2months before reaching your ideal price. But in general Arcane Awake rise 100-200k each after the event ends especially at the 1month mark.

My suggestion for next month's awakening event, don't go all in. Unless, there is a change in the event towards the player's expectations.
