Pet Evolution Shard Shattering | Eggzavier Upgrade

Hi!

I was thinking about how now that everyone have potential ability to upgrade the pets to tier 7, why not make it relatively more accessible more often rather than just waiting for the pet shards to be in store or for the Pet Evolution event itself to farm the Beastmaster Chests. So here's my idea:

Pet Evolution Shard Shattering would basically work the same way as with the noble jewels being shattered into the fortified ones.

During the Zavier event the pet influx into economy is massive as players loot incredible amounts of legendary and mythic eggs but also a lot of arcane/arcanite andd heroic eggs. That itself boosts the economy where a lot of people buy the desired pets to keep eggs for happiness buffs, abilities or to open those for their seasonal LB alts (every aps counts after all). A lot of pets make their comeback during the event, especially those are hard to find nowadays and AL players naturally like to collect pets, show them off and all that. Eventually there's so many leftover eggs that people just stash them where they collect the dust waiting for opportunity to be merched and so on. Great example of sink was given on last Birthday event where we could craft previously sale/event exclusive pets like Radyven or Ghost Cryptareth and a lot of people have gambled their egg stashes into Pet chests to potentially loot those pets. Whole thing was very successful.

So now that we the Pet Evolution aps and a lot of people use them for haste buffs, passive damage or even twink pvp why not make the whole thing more accessible.
My idea is to let people Shatter the eggs into pet evolution shards for the duration of Pet Eggstravaganza.

Egg rarities would respectively go along with the rarities of the evolution shards, so let's say:

1 Legendary egg - 1-5 Legendary Shards
1 Mythic egg - 5-10 Mythic Shards
1 Heroic egg - 25-30 Heroic Shards
1 Arcane/Arcanite egg - 35-50 Arcane Shards

(Numbers are just examples but I think these are relatively reasonable)

Instead of dusting the eggs in stash I believe this would be a great sink for those but also for gold since well upgrading pets to highest tier still cost gold. Also people buying the elixir for plat in store to loot better rarity eggs in portal (grinding) would benefit the STS in general (as it should).

Any ideas, comments, thoughts below would be appreciated. If you're against the idea please make an actual argument why because from my point of view this literally benefits everyone. From people farming eggs to shatter them for shards to people farming eggs making good deal selling them quickly and for good gold (probably for higher price - demand = bigger cost) since its gonna be pretty desirable way to obtain the shards when store ones are unavailable at the moment.

This is smart, well thought out suggestion that STS should take seriously. The current system makes pet evolution way too restrictive, and this idea not only fixes that but also benefits every part of the economy, players, farmers, merchants, and even STS themselves. More accessibility means more engagement, and more engagement means a healthier game overall. There�s literally no downside here. Hope the devs actually take note of this because it�s one of the best suggestions I�ve seen in a while.

They already shown they�re willing to make changes for the better, especially with the current event being one of the best so far. This idea fits perfectly with that momentum.

I like the idea, even knowing the numbers you used were just an example, they seem to be an exaggerated amount for only one egg.

Legendary and mythic I think are pretty fair, heroic/arcane ones would probably depend on the drop rate percentages.

Yea, the reason I said it's seems to be a exaggerated amount is because it really is when compared to store prices, for example, if we take the price of arcane eggs last year(300k) and take the smallest amount mentioned(35 shards), that would be 900k for 105 shards, while the 100 shard kit in the store costs 7-8m(the same applies to heroics).

A system like this would be disadvantageous for STS sales, but it still a good idea, should be reviewed by devs team.

Have to consider that egg prices would probably way more now considering the massive gold influx from Indigo farming and the fact that people would be keen to shatter eggs for shards. I don't see eggs being in 300k scenario here.
