    Default Warrior - pet help

I'm a level 15 warrior, and I have enough pat to buy any pet. I was thinking either flap jack or ribbit. I can not seem to choose between the two, so can someone please help? I usually don't tank, but that doesn't matter. Any help is needed. Thank you.

I think Ribbit is pretty awesome.

I'm using it on my 14 Warrior.

I'm partial to Flap Jack, his regen boosts let me use a lot less potions. Plus the damage boost is nice.

Ok another question - I bought the arcane pack at level 8, and I have enough plat now at level 15 to buy another, should I buy it now, or hold of til the raised cap comes so I can buy it then?

If you just want the gear, i wouldn't buy the pack, but rather buy the level 15 gear out of the auction. There's plenty of warriors selling the 15 gear so it shouldn't be too expensive.

If you want more inventory and whatnot, go for it

Ribbit is my choice for leveling up--I use 3 damage skills for this build, so the 40% crit boost from Ribbit gets used well.

Flap Jack is my choice for tanking--15% extra damage helps with tanking, and of course the the regens keep me focused on managing aggro rather than clicking potions.

so ur saying 250 health doesnt help in tanking? Id say ribbit all round cuz it also heals and regen and bonus damage and the hp

    When did I say that?

Ribbit's 250 hp boost is fine for tanking. But it isn't the best hp boost you can get, by far. Say an average boss fight is 2 minutes: 8 hp/s, as Flap Jack gives, will give you 960 health for the duration of the fight. Do you want 960 or 250?

I spoke before double checking the pets. Thanks for correcting me.

I'm actually writing a Warrior guide that I'll post in the next day or so. I'll say here though that there are other reasons why I prefer Flap Jack to Ribbit for tanking, one of which is that FP's arcane attack and passive attack provides a nice AoE stun and armor reduction. The stun has been very useful to give me breathing room while clearing up to a boss, or to help out an party member who needs a few seconds to escape. Ribbit's boost fleeting boost to your crit chance can help maintain aggro, but a Warrior should be relying on taunts for gaining aggro in emergencies, not a chance of doing critical damage.

EDIT: Also, unless pets' stats increase with each level cap increase, Ribbit's flat +25 strength is going to be relatively weaker each patch.

Well I ended up getting Flap Jack just because I am not dumping this game soon, and my thoughts were when I max out later on, how much is +25 str going to do, compared to +15% dmg? And the crit bonus I hope will come with later armors. Thanks for the help.
