what was your favorite expansion & why?

Personal fav expansion was the nordr one. Loved the look and looting an entombed hammer meant you could keep farming! It was also the introduction of the Maul of OLLERUS. That weapon was no joke with the lightening stun procs.

For me it's level 46 when I was rich with 50m and not now when not even 200m is enough to have anything useful.

50 was not rich back then it was being a freaking whale.

My fav experience was on festerfang (lvl71) expansion.
Maybe it wasn't the best expansionwise, but I had the best time playing it.

I had a successful fun time in 46 expansion with getting the elusive lvl 41 crafted arcane ring, the mythic planner pendant, mythic bow and maridos, nekro and shady & surge. Oh sns was such a flex then!

Then i returned after a 2 year break, and found out about inflation and my 2m~ gold left was pretty much nothing lols.
Then started death farming on orrick/ hydra to get the mire set item drops.
Orrick map was interesting cause we needed a good tank to take the blow, or someone had to die lols and when other keep damaging.
Later when I farmed some gold and gear, started farming on deep marsh.
Farming deep marsh bosses with half-assed gears and gold loot set was really fun.

Had some of the best versions of the best events in Al history then. My most fav ones: easter, eggzavier, marvalous, and pirate Booty event.

Also made most of the awesome friends in game, guild and discord during that time too.

Gear was more available than now.
But the "Sorry no war" périod was awfull xD
I liked this expension during the mythic 81 period. They were good, had a purpose and not that broken.
Kraken gear even overpowered SB wep too much and that was sad coupled to gold loot improvement on maps too easy with arcane gear making the "inflation" topic mainstream all Arlor.

Graveyard/Mauso, It had the best pacing, difficulty, class balance and rewards. The first month or two almost everyone was using legendaries (That had procs) in PvE and PvP, and they dropped from bosses.

Then the bar slowly filled up to unlock mauso and we got tokens to unlock the other levels and eventually we got to farm the last 2 levels for a bunch of loot+gold from vory/lich + treasure rooms, It had lots of mobs with different abilities that made all classes useful, and had none of these single boss portal maps we have gotten since lvl 71-86.

For plat you got glowstik egg which was pretty much a necessity and undying orbs that crafted lvl 61 arcane armour using a mythic that dropped from lich boss.

One or two people with good gear could guide a team through Tindrin with minimal deaths. More community feels, now it’s divided.No speed sets to ruin the flow. Yeah, pre SS was best.

the main objective is gold farm yes but i like how many maps are playable since route length and yield amount is roughly the same in both while offering different obstacles unlike current indigo solely better which discriminates the other 3 heavily

tired of long distance sprint but still wants the gold? enter ekenta and rahabkor
up for challenge while also showing off your skills? behold the gauntlet
need even more challenges and wish to access special loots or vanities? catacombs

so many contents to kill time with. only downside is the dark age for warriors being mostly unwanted in any party unless overly geared

then the city itself by design and aquatic theme just steals it for me. though can't say for other previous expansions as i wasn't there in its glory days

being that they still update pl as much as they do, i’m sure Al will be around a while

however, if we are lucky we will kill all AI b4 it gets all sci-fi

And devs do not invest anymore in the game.

bring back other method of farming(kt2 lockeds, elite boxes)
bring back gameplay that actually requires skill and coordination between 3 classes(twilight maus peak, varden w proc stacking decent too)
bring back events that actually yields more profit than standard goldfarming(forgotten, first Jarl events)
