It's said in that thread that "next big thing" and Winter Fest and all the others are "besides (new classes) that". So I'm guessing it's coming soon.

I think the new stuff will come next year. If they release too much at one time people will get bored quickly again and the releases will steal attention from each other.

I think Sam only said that the elite 76 map is coming this month for PL. That doesn't mean it's out of the realm of possibility for the other stuff to happen as well, of course, but I'd be surprised.
