Hi, returning back from about almost 5 yrs of not playing in normal mode

wanted to ask to every peeps here these following questions: (as a warrior main)

-What specific items/sets are needed for decent stats? (not op because of inflation lmao. just for a headstart as well)
-What specific stats are needed in the current game?
-Where to farm?
-Pets/Skills/Masteries etc for farming?

My current goal is just to be an average player and slowly climb my way back again.

Well you have 2 options.

Number one :
Become an apostle of your leech king. That is the faster way to farm gold now.
You must build as much gl as you can and have an SS. The optimal gl for debut is 700+gl. The more you have the better.
With that you just leech op people who will carry you through 3 main maps : 1st e indigo, 2nd e rahabbkor and 3rd e hedo (not reliable since people struggle to carry it op people mostly play in parties)

Number two :
Buy platinium and help STS paying bills.

what gears should i use bro? i always see people saying blood/sb/immo etc. can you run me down on what should i need? much appreciated bro

i assume you are 86?
gear
sets needed first (from worst minimal to better)
zaar set, star beast/kraken, blood star/elemental

other sets maybe needed : any speed set, gold loot set
many of these can be mixed like 3/3 star 3/3 blood

stats i’d shoot for min 2k int, but awakens should be main stat or elite damage, boss damage, & crit
procs are more important than stats- stacking procs & sets is what make mage beast mode

Where to farm:
for gold elite ekenta & Rhaba in zodias or
indigo cavern in elder woods until you have the big stats/gear needed for Hedo

pets: too many to list- go for pets that boost & stack damage
her sabra is a good all around on the cheaper side
many ppl use arc saph for a base then slot eggs like her ghostly

skills is subjective, most use shield then 3 attack ones, sometimes curse is great
i never use heal or shield personally but im not saying do that just because i party naked

play around see what works best & realize some maps MAY NEED certain skills like some mages need heal and shield to farm Rhaba

mastery - usually meteor or energize

there is no one way, that’s why i have like 5 sets, tons of load outs, & 8 hot bars

Game become harder now but gold easily to farm I guess since people are more OP and geared leech on them until your back on your feet since you're returning from old expansion

I am looking to eventually get a bio amulet for the 200% speed but where does this fit in the sets. I was going to 7/6 beast star + immo, 8/8 blood, then 3/3 blood/star beast. Or is there a better combination. I just don't understand the order of procs and what is better with what if you don't mind explaining

for the bio amu, you first proc sb 7/6 (be careful not to accidentally proc sb amu),
then you proc blood arcs (helm, armor, arti) and maybe krak daggs and krak belt,
and then you switch to speed loadout which has good dmg and high speed (some movement speed awakes) and you proc the bio amu and just run through the mobs, it will melt them all
so maybe blood chak/helm/armor, sb belt/ring/artifact, bio amu, immo bracelet

edit: nvm maybe its better to have bio amu straight in the proc set, but dont change to different amu one in ms set, it will break the bio amu proc
