loot/luck elexier

can someone explain me whats the difference between loot elexier and luck elexier.
i can buy loot elexier in the store.
and luck elexier when i press on the elxier button next to the pots.
Whats the difference between them?

As a follow-up to this one, what are the chances of getting the desired loot (example: eggs) when using the loot elixir? In my experience, I got the Flap Jack egg on my second attempt at Rook's Nest with loot elixir. And in the same manner, I saw the egg drop on my company with loot elixir.

Did you guys get the egg drop using the elixir loot? and how many times must you go back to the place to get the desired loot?
