Elemental damage awake not working

I have awoken +5 of each element damage on my gears and none of them seem to do any sort of damage.

Your screenshot shows you not doing any elemental damage at all, so the elemental damage modifier awakes have nothing to affect.

I see, figured the awake would do elemental damage on its own instead of relying on something else that procs elemental damage.
