    Default Warrior's "Rage" Ultimate - Too Powerful? Probably. Nerfs & Other Class Ulti. Buffs

    We recently buffed two (2) Ultimate Skills for both Sorcerers and Rogues - but a question of balance surrounding the Warrior's "Rage" Ultimate skill remains.

    The team is actively considering changes. Your input on these changes is welcome...

    Here are a few possible adjustments under consideration:

    - Reduce the multiplier provided by Warrior "Rage" by 50% (or a bit more) to maintain the power of "Rage" without making it ultra-OP.

    - Reduce the multiplier (as above) and give Rogues and Sorcerers a similar effect via one of their Ultimates (Herb for Rogues, Energize for Sorcs.).

    - Add an ally bonus function to "Rage" that boosts the Primary Stat for nearby Rogues and Sorcerers (similar to how Energize buffs friends).


    Weighted Consideration for Feedback

    I certainly don't mind hearing from Rogues and Sorcerers on this topic but I really want to hear from Warriors. If you main War and have an opinion that you want us to consider please include the IGN of your Level 76+ Warrior toon(s). It'll take time but I plan to look up your character and the associated analysis to determine whether or not your "yay" or "nay" is coming from a place of experience, but it'll be worth it - and way better than the standard forum poll.

    We dont mind having a similar ultimate like warriors since for the longest time, warrior’s are known to be superior since garetta days.

    Mage here. Ally buff from rage is not going to help much because of solo content like cursed or Adan.

    Just give other classes a similar buff or get rid of it altogether. Warriors have been enjoying it exclusively for way too long.

    My ign is Cprz, i'm a warrior. Using Rage ulti makes warrior just instantly one shot anything in combination with blood items procs and also makes them basicaly immortal. Do i like it? Sure why not, makes me powerful beyond limit. Is it fair? Probably not, its up to you devs if you want to give an unfair ability to each class to even out the playing field, or nerf the one that currently has it. In my opinion game should be harder even for people with best gear. One shotting everything isnt much fun, creating strategy and playing together in a party trying to beat a hard map is more fun in my opinion.

    Dear Cinco,

    I have a few ideas for Rogues and Mages check it out:

    (Defensive) Medicinal Herb: The Rogue eats an herb that regenerates a large percentage of the Rogue's health every second for a time.
    Change to:
    Medicinal Herb: The Rogue eats an herb that heals them but is poisonous to anyone who disturbs them. Enemies may be affected with a chance of (%) for (seconds). Affected enemies are poisoned with a tick that reduces (% of their total HP per tick) and has a 50% chance of failing to cast abilities.

    (Support) Refuel: The Rogue and all allies receive no longer use mana to cast abilities for a time and gain a movement speed boost.
    Change to:

    (Support) Rogues Cloacks:
    The Rogue and all allies receive no longer use mana to cast abilities for a time and gain a movement speed boost.
    Also…
    It also provides a % of vanish enemy on any attack or damage you and your allies do while the ability lasts (Does not affect bosses).


    (Offensive) Ultimate Aimed Shot: Super high damage single target ability
    Change to:
    Marked weaknesses: Targets the rogue has marked for attack and/or is currently attacking will receive a mark on their HP bar. Doing damage equal or greater than (% of enemies hp bar) will be doubled... Well i think that the general idea is here (an amplifier of damage based on a goal of damage but with a limit (which is based on % of total hp bar) or it will be so op enough to oneshot enemies) (boss COUNT) its especial Has to count for Bosses or Rogues will feel bad about it.

    SORC

    (Defensive) Grand Protection: The Sorcerer blesses himself with an immense shield, preventing all damage until it breaks

    Change to:
    (Defensive) Grand Protection: The Sorcerer blesses himself and one random ally with an immense shield, preventing all damage until it breaks taunting all near enemies and also reflecting % dmg


    (Support) Energize: All allies are empowered, allowing skills to recharge more quickly for a time
    add: also brings an electrical area that has a chance (%) to stun enemies and lossing (%) of armor.

    This poll is slanted poorly into a binary, you’re basically asking if wars should be nerfed or not

    War is meta, why would (prolly) the majority of players agree to nerf the most popular class?

    As a 12+ year player of mainly mage and rogue this is the best option in my opinion.

    The recent buffs to rogue and mage ultimate skills are still very underwhelming and don't have me rushing to spec into them, i just don't and wont use them in their current state.

    The easiest and best way is to nerf the multiplier + give rogue and mage a similar effect via an ult. I quit rogue a while ago but as someone who has played both warrior and mage in Dune: I think Energize can be reworked/replaced to give a 3x INT buff for 15 seconds same as what the nerfed warrior rage would be. Procs and pet happiness bonus/arcane ability gets us to max haste anyways, so the ult isn't really relevant like it was a couple years ago.

    With almost same gearing my warrior can kill the boss in under 2-3 seconds in Dune floor 1 (3/3 blood/ and 3/3 starbeast)due to rage, my mage takes a lot longer.

    Survivability is another topic for a different day so don't want to get into how my warrior can tank everything while mage gets killed really fast thru shield.. but ultimate wise and damage wise I think this will level the playing field for the classes.

    Honestly just give everyone a 6x primary stat multiplier ultimate. Classes have mostly lost their roles anyway so this is the easiest and most fair solution.

    Warrior here. I think giveing a 2x int ; 2x dex to rogues and sorcerers will be a good trade . I am also a bit afraid/scared how rogues and sorcerers might perform too much and warriors will be left in silence. But i think 2x multiplier will not break the game hopefully.
    If nerf to rage ult , at list 6× to 5x or 4x , because immortal ultimate already gives 3x.

    Giving everyone the same multipler and also giving a buff to other classes eg. Main person who uses ult get 4x and teammates get 2x or 3x. Making it so only 1 can be active at one time to not become overpowered (having to work as a team to who uses what ult and everyone not have 4x buff for an example, hoping other ults will not get left behind in teamplay.)
    Being a hc war we sometimes rely on pur ultimate to burst kill difficult bosses.
