I think that there should be 2 paths: Gold Loot and Luck, not mixed, but, also im thinking about the gold could also be like a item as we can get 2k gold pack from cakes, this pack of course could be better being reasonable with a drop rato and amount of luck equiped.
Like:
Gold Loot use Path: Get gold from (10k to 70k) it from new map bosses.
Luck use Path: Get items to craft and also gold kits like 2k - 10k - 25k - 50k - 100k
Adding also another idea: What if we can drop some item that could be only sellable to a npc which pays gold fixing prices.
are you saying all loot tables have now been consolidated per dungeon to represent a single master loot table? if not, with multiple loot tables present per dungeon, does luck even affect which loot tables we loot from in the first place? the bottom line is that most of the loot tables in game are horrendous. so no matter what reroll system you implement, much of its outcomes are going to be bad because the base is bad. for example: if loot_table1 contains common-legendary items, loot_table2 contains epic-myth, loot_table3 contains myth-arc-vanities - effectively making loot_table3 the most desirable/valuable - much of what we loot from loot_table1 and loot_table2 doesn't move the needle whatsoever regardless of if i roll 4-5x in either of those. case in point being, for example, the ectoplasm vials, which have a "Rare" rarity but are looted from a completely different/special loot table.

Nope, luck doesn't work at all, so no need to waste time to understand. No matter the reason you're just not getting anything of value by using luck. The rework is just another 'improvement' gimmick.
First luck doesn't work in event loot table (if you do not use elixir).
Second luck doesn't work in portal boss. Idk why. 211+ luck and didn't re roll for better loot in 20 runs.
Two possible problems :
- maybe i'm unlucky
- your "luck rework" is not working as it should because maybe :
1: it is coded in spaghetti and just doesnt work
2 : wanted items droprate is dumb low as F so i never re rolled for better loot.
Anyway there is work you guys need to do if you wanna call that a rework right now it is more about a lazy half-*** work.

Can we have a message that tells us every time we re-roll as well as the newly added message telling us "we re-rolled for better loot". It would help us know which loot tables can be re-rolled and which can't.
Can we add an option in settings to show us when the luck fails ? that would give us a better feedback rather than nothing appearing at all in chat leaving us with the doubt about whether the luck is even functioning
From the Malicious Maker event, I feel like this actually creates an unintended situation. When a portion or even most players run with 200%+ luck, items that are supposed to be “rare” end up flooding the market, which makes mid-tier rarity items (legendary, mythic) become even rarer and more valuable. even house slots that in rare rarity is less drop than vanity rarity.
im not saying its bad at all, but it seems like need to be improved.

I mean, true, but also i think you have to handle that depending what you need. Like i use 0 luck so i can loot house slots , because i need those. I dont really like this whole luck/reroll thing. Because it makes stuff too complicated and too many hotbars is needed. I wish game had normal “luck” / “drop loot” system, where lets say arcane can drop anytime if ur extremely lucky and is worth insane amouts, mythic bit less, etc.. like if luck was irrelevant and maybe double boss elixir was only thing changing it.

I think will be better if each item type should be in separated pool. So when you get a legendary-rarity deed as the initial reroll, having 200% luck (2x succed rerolls) shouldn’t replace it with furniture, but with higher item of the same type: a mythic-rarity deed. The same logic should apply to the other item groups: gear, eggs, slots, chests, etc., each in their own separate pool.
They won't give you any better chance at anything. Haven't u realized that yet? Their idea is to make you pay for anything. So luck was crippled long ago and with the last rework it was buried dead.
When is this coming? Release it already XD

I’m experiencing the same.
300% luck used vs Orrick – multiple set pieces looted by reroll in single day.
300% luck used during the Malicious event – multiple set pieces looted by reroll during week of event.
300% luck used for 10 days of Dune farming – 0 rerolls, 0 set pieces.
Coincidence? I don’t think so. Looks like Dune weapons are meant to stay rare for a while before luck kicks in.

I would like to suggest an option to cap / limit our roll. That we can select.
Because if we want something like a vanity to roll or an arcane item to roll
And the Arcane item drops that we want
it will and is currently set to reroll into heroic.
And say our intent was to have the mythic reroll into Arcane.
So it would be nice if we had some level of control of what the highest tier roll we can get. Because a re-roll into an item we don’t want just because it’s a higher tier doesn’t make us lucky at all.
So far, the luck system rework doesn’t seem that beneficial. Luck feels like any other random things that everyone just forgets about
Luck was better before because of the guaranteed reroll to next rarity
Currently with items we can only get 100% plus luck, 200% luck is almost impossible.
Even if u have 1000%luck, it doesn't matter because your extra 10x times reroll might reroll to any rarity WHICH INCLUDE lower rarity, then the initial item will be the item that u will get anyways if all rerolls are junk
Quite useless because as the higher the rarity an item is, the harder it is to get rerolled and looted anyways because of the item's WEIGHT which is fixed and not affected by how much a player's luck is![]()
