Winter returns to Alterra!

If those 2010 Winter Fest Items (Snowball Launcher Toy Man Wand and Tinsel Talons) are farmable on all levels and aren’t recolored that’s going to be a big oof towards my pockets. Anywho’s more people coming back to PvP is a great thing so that redeems it. Gonna be crazy to see 15 immediately become active.

I can finally get my drapes too reading all of the items now coming back. Collection completed after that.

Can we get a confirmation on whether these 2010 Winterfest items drop every 5 levels like they use to? A lot of people are excited and wondering if so.

Thank you for the update and additional wants added to this event that players have requested.

I noticed the added:
- Random Baby Yeti Pack (Shivers, Munch, Mushmellow, Sassy, or Chip)

- and Xmas weapons and sheilds
(Will these items be lootable for all twink levels? For example level 10, 15, 20 , 25, 30, 35 , 40 and 45?)
Or is it added just for level 115 which is useless and not viable in pvp.

Please add bounces to the new aura and pet so players keep using their vanities instead of leaving them in the stash. Also, a separate wings slot in the inventory would be great to separate them from banners. Thanks for keeping the game alive with these small updates!

The lower level items can drop at all levels for which they previously existed (regardless of level of the character playing the event).

This is amazing news, thank you so much for the confirmation. I just made a new suggestion post for this event on the "suggestions and feedback" portion of the forums if you don't mind reading it and taking it into consideration. Thanks a ton and you are much appreciated for these ++ changes!

Another thing I forgot to ask for -- Could we also get the "Gleeful Girlish Goatee", "Gold Xmas Cap", "Pink Santa Hat", "Blue blizzard Hat", and "Blue Xmas Cap" back into rotation? I think these are also worthy for this legendary event!

Does this also include the old present shield �items� not vanities. Or does this exclude those?

I lost 30B and counting off this event and it hasn’t even started yet. A big oof is an understatement. To address the return of Present Shields, Peppermint Pounder, and Winterfest staff I’m pretty sure these were all plat pack items? Doesn’t seem appropriate to have them be farmable.

At least with everything else you were able to loot them.

Ye I’m ok with those. Glad to see them back. Just making sure the plat based weapons aren’t being suggested since I’m hearing a lot of friends not liking the idea of them returning again, like they did in 2014.

While we are on the topic of items I haven’t seen Black Friday weapons L10 drop in at least 2 years. Are they permanently discontinued from the Xmas events?

It would be great to add a mascot that's a snowflake, Christmas tree, or Santa hat.

New pet and aura are pure vanity, no stats, not part of sets.

Can you also bring back the common rings from plat store? A lot of it were liquidated during halloween event and is now needed in pvp.

thanks for the the Xmas event it's looks great, my only suggestion is that make the twink pvp items obtainable from the escort map only cause that map very easy and fast, in gauntlet it's hard and long time to get to wave 20 and players there mostly aim to get the polar backpack and dragon eye vanitys and now the loot table is contain too much items in it so we get low chance to drop them, thx for new stuffs

yes i want to clarify this too , some endgame players prefer rare loots from killjoy at gauntlet

gauntlet runs last 15-20 mins and it's hard to reach wave 20 and kill toyman, escort runs only last 4 mins it's simple and any level players can do it regardless of level with a merman or drak set + a decent pet

therefore the harder map should not contain the l10-45 twink pvp stuffs just the escort

+ can we get a new wfx red colored 2pc snowflake sets int, str, and dex?

I actually disagree w it this. I believe if anything the twink items should be strictly in the harder map to at least let them keep some value and not become 100% worthless.

Thanks for the Input into PL winter event this year in particular the new equipment (aura) slot - for sure didn't see that coming.
One suggestion if you guys find the time for it going forward in PL - a set browser type of function similar to the AL version because it's a huge drag trying to organize and find all PL gears over the years.

This is a great idea too for future update of pl, although it might take time reworking the same logic to pl but it would be helpful for sure, Ive been off on AL for over a yr and slowly forgot some features at AL that could possibly pass down to PL as well.
